At Windsor Place Retirement Community, the heartbeat of our home isn’t just the beautifully landscaped grounds or the inviting amenities—it’s the people. Behind every warm smile and comforting gesture is a caregiver who has dedicated themselves to making each resident feel safe, supported, and cherished. Today, we’re proud to share the stories of some of our incredible staff who go above and beyond every day.
Compassion in Action: Meet Sandra, CNA
Sandra has been with Windsor Place Retirement for over six years. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), her day begins before sunrise. “I come in each morning knowing that even a small act—helping with breakfast or sharing a laugh—can brighten someone’s entire day,” she says. Sandra’s gentle manner and attentiveness have made her a favorite among residents and their families. For her, caregiving is more than a job. “It’s a calling. These residents are like family to me.”
A Listening Ear and a Steady Hand: Meet Robert, LPN
Robert, a Licensed Practical Nurse, joined Windsor Place Retirement after spending several years in hospital settings. He found something different here—something more personal. “In hospitals, things move fast. At Windsor Place, I can take the time to talk, to listen, and to really get to know each person.” Residents appreciate Robert’s calm and steady presence, especially during moments when they need reassurance. His dedication has helped many families feel confident that their loved ones are in the best hands.
More Than Just Meals: Meet Diane, Dining Services Manager
Diane has led the dining team at Windsor Place for three years. But to her, the dining room is more than a place for meals—it’s a place for connection. “We try to cater not just to dietary needs but also to individual tastes and memories. I’ve had residents light up when we prepare a dish they haven’t had since childhood.” Her creativity and personal touch turn each meal into a meaningful experience.
Creating Joyful Moments: Meet Angela, Activities Coordinator
Angela believes that mental and emotional well-being is just as important as physical health. As our Activities Coordinator, she brings energy and joy through everything from music therapy to group painting sessions. “I love seeing residents come out of their shells during a game or art class. These moments of laughter and creativity remind us all how vibrant life can be at any age.”
A Culture of Care and Respect
What unites all our caregivers is a deep-rooted belief in treating residents with dignity, compassion, and respect. Many of our team members have been with us for years—a testament to the strong sense of community we’ve built together.
At Windsor Place Retirement, caregiving isn’t just a task—it’s a relationship built on trust, empathy, and genuine connection. We’re proud of our staff and grateful for the love and commitment they bring to our residents each day.
